The Barnyard
Well friends and followers, as if growing a bunch of tomatoes and cucumbers wasn't enough, we've now gotten the animal raising bug. It only makes sense that we take the next step in the homesteading journey as it's always good not to put all of your eggs in one basket, as some would say.
As we gain experience with one animal and get things established, we shall continue on with yet another animal until we have a well established group of livestock animals to help feed us and possibly provide us with income.
In the troubling times that we are surely to face (some would say we already are), having control over the source of your food is a responsible thing for anyone to do, versus being another zombie marching off to the grocery store with no idea of what it actually takes to get that TV dinner or that pack of chicken or that tomato to the shelves.
So, if you're interested in our endeavors into the world of raising livestock, then proceed.
